Our Story

Shelter In Peace was established in January 2017 to address the urgent housing needs of refugees, immigrants, and low-income families in Alameda. The faith-based community recognized the challenges faced by these individuals, often turned away by landlords due to lack of credit history or references. In response, Shelter In Peace was formed to ensure that safe and supportive housing is available for those in need.

Our Impact
