SHELTER ANIMALS ADVOCATES

From the Beginning of 2022, we were endlessly contacted by other rescue, the public,with animals needing surrender assistance. Animals found dumped on side of the roads. People becoming homeless living in a car with their dogs, or not able to afford to care for their animals or family members or neighbors having passed away animals left abandoned. Our local shelters because of covid policy was not open publicly to animal intake. Community needing help had to make an appointment which was usually a month or so away. People were abandoning animals. Litters were found in the middle of roads. Strays were not being picked up. We had to offer what assistance we could to help alleviate these conditions. We vetted, homed, sent to rescue partners vetted animals to help the demand in our area.
