SHELTER 37 was founded in 1993 by James Washington, driven by a personal journey of triumph over adversity. This not-for-profit public benefit corporation is dedicated to providing life skills, job training, and educational programs to youth in Southern California. With a compassionate approach, Shelter 37 addresses the root causes of challenges faced by young Angelenos, offering guidance and support in difficult environments.
