She Is More Than began with A.C. Black, a survivor of sexual abuse, who was inspired to create a global anti-trafficking organization after witnessing young girls being exploited in Uganda. Established in 2013, this organization focuses on providing restorative aftercare for teenage girls who have been victims of human trafficking and sexual abuse.
Operating a live-in restoration facility in Uganda, She Is More Than offers safe housing, trauma-informed therapy, medical care, academic tutoring, and life skills training. This comprehensive support helps break the cycle of abuse and empowers each girl to reclaim her life.
