Our Story
In the late 1970s, a group of passionate volunteers began rescuing and rehabilitating injured and orphaned wildlife in their homes. This grassroots effort blossomed into the Shasta Wildlife Rescue and Rehabilitation Center in 1980. Today, the organization has expanded significantly, caring for approximately 1,500 animals each year and fostering a deep commitment to wildlife conservation and education.
