Sharon Baptist Head Start opened its doors to 60 preschoolers in the summer of 1969, starting in the basement of Sharon Baptist Church in the Bronx, New York. Over the years, the program has expanded to enroll 384 children across three campuses, providing essential early childhood education and support to families in the community.
100% of children enrolled are ready for school by the end of the year, and all have access to medical and dental homes, ensuring a strong foundation for their future.
