Our Story
Founded by Michaud Jean Chrislot, Sharing Blessings to Others emerged from a personal journey of overcoming adversity in Haiti. Growing up in a family struggling to make ends meet, Michaud faced numerous challenges in accessing education. Despite these obstacles, his mother instilled in him the importance of education, even when it meant reusing old notebooks or going without a uniform. The devastating earthquake in 2010 opened new doors for Michaud, allowing him to work as an interpreter and eventually secure a better education in the United States.
With the support of his host family and the Chico Community Church, Michaud's vision to help children in Haiti became a reality. Inspired by the biblical principle of generosity from 2 Corinthians 9:6-8, Sharing Blessings to Others was established to provide essential resources to underprivileged children in Haiti. Since its inception in 2017, the organization has focused on empowering communities through education, ensuring that every child has access to the basic necessities of life.
