Our Story

ShareNet Food Bank began as a humble food closet at Bayside Church in 1993, designed to support struggling church members. Recognizing a broader community need, it expanded in 2007 to a larger facility and opened a thrift store to fund its mission. Officially becoming a food bank, ShareNet now provides essential emergency food, utilities, and rental assistance to the greater Kingston area.

Impact

Each year, ShareNet serves over 24,000 individuals, delivering emergency food and assistance to families in need. The Food2GO program ensures that local children receive nutritious meals every week during the school year.
