Our Story

In 2009, a group of friends from Raleigh embarked on a mission trip to El Carrizo, Honduras, where they witnessed the extreme poverty affecting families and children. This transformative experience inspired the establishment of Sharefish, dedicated to providing educational opportunities that break the cycle of poverty.

Impact

Sharefish has educated 147 elementary and middle grade students, with 17 students currently in higher education and vocational training programs. The organization also offers a vibrant preschool program, successfully sponsoring students to graduate and secure jobs, turning dreams into reality.
