Our Story

Share the Dream Inc., formerly known as Community Christmas, was founded in 2009 by Glenda Woosley and her mother, Helen Woosley. Recognizing the need for a Christmas Eve gathering, they created an event that offers free dinner and gifts to low-income families. This initiative has grown from a small restaurant gathering to a large banquet hall event, uniting people from diverse backgrounds to celebrate the holiday together.

Impact

Last year, Share the Dream served meals and gifts to 1,069 individuals and 229 families. Each family receives a gift box filled with children's gifts, family activities, blankets, and other surprises, along with a week's worth of meals. Families also enjoy holiday activities, including a visit with Santa!
