About ShareHouse Inc

Founded in 1975, ShareHouse Inc. emerged from the urgent need for a halfway house in the Fargo-Moorhead community. Recognizing the lack of Intermediate Care Facilities for individuals with substance use disorder in North Dakota, a dedicated group of citizens established the first public halfway house in the state. Initially starting with just six beds, ShareHouse has significantly expanded its facilities and services over the years.

Our Impact

Today, ShareHouse operates two facilities in Fargo and Grand Forks, offering 103 beds to support individuals on their recovery journey. As one of the longest-running treatment centers in the upper Midwest, ShareHouse is renowned for its dual diagnosis treatment programs, providing comprehensive care tailored to each patient's needs.

Why Donate?

Your generous contributions to ShareHouse are tax-deductible and directly support essential funds like the Helping Hand Fund, which assists patients facing barriers to recovery, and the Sober Fun Fund, which promotes sober activities and supplies. Every donation helps create a supportive environment for those seeking recovery.
