Our Story

Founded in 1986, Share Food Program began as a food co-op aimed at providing low-cost food to communities in need. Since becoming a 501(c)(3) nonprofit in 1991, it has evolved into the leading hunger relief organization in Philadelphia and one of the largest independent food banks in the nation.

Impact

Each month, Share Food Program distributes food to hundreds of thousands of neighbors, with over 50% being children and seniors. This year alone, the organization has provided over 22 million meals, addressing the urgent food insecurity exacerbated by the pandemic.

Why Donate?

Your contribution is vital in the fight against hunger. A donation of $50 can feed a school-aged child for an entire week, while $100 helps distribute 4 million pounds of emergency food relief monthly. Every dollar counts in making a difference.

Get Involved

Join the mission to alleviate hunger in the community. Donate cryptocurrency or cash today to help provide essential food resources to those in need. Together, we can create a hunger-free future!
