Our Story

The Sewing Hope Foundation is dedicated to supporting Sister Rosemary Nyirumbe and her transformative work in Northern Uganda and South Sudan. For over two decades, the Lord's Resistance Army (LRA) inflicted terror on these regions, abducting children and subjecting them to violence and exploitation. Now, with the conflict behind them, the foundation focuses on helping formerly abducted girls at Saint Monica's Vocational School in Gulu, Uganda. Here, they learn essential skills to support their families, find forgiveness, and reclaim their futures.

Impact

Through vocational training, formerly abducted girls gain independence and community, helping them to heal from their traumatic pasts and build a better future for themselves and their families.
