Established in 1935 by a group of dedicated young African American men, the Sewickley Community Center has been a cornerstone of the Sewickley Valley Area since its doors opened in 1937. Originally known as the Sewickley Colored Community Center, it has continually adapted to meet the evolving needs of the community, providing a welcoming space for various programs and activities.
