About SEWA-AIFW

Founded in 2004, SEWA-AIFW is a dedicated nonprofit organization serving the South Asian Indian community in Minnesota. With a mission to promote "Total Family Wellness," SEWA addresses the unique needs of the Asian-Indian diaspora and South Asian immigrant and refugee communities. The organization began as a small group of passionate volunteers and has grown into a robust entity with a Board of Trustees and a team of culturally trained volunteers.

Impact in the Community

Since its inception, SEWA-AIFW has made significant strides in enhancing the well-being of the Twin Cities South Asian community. In 2022 alone, the organization delivered over 10,000 meals and provided support to 4,238 women and victims through its programs and crisis line.
