Our Story

Founded in 1995 by retired Juvenile Court Justice Daniel Weinstein and Native American healer Hully Fetiçó, Seven Tepees Youth Program began as a summer camp for underresourced youth in San Francisco. The organization, named after the seven tepees representing each continent, has evolved from a grassroots initiative into a professionally staffed youth development and college access organization. With a commitment to addressing the needs of vulnerable populations, Seven Tepees has grown organically over the past 25 years, adapting to the changing needs of the community.

Our Impact

The Seven Tepees Fund aims to enhance mental health services in community-based organizations, connecting underserved youth to nature and fostering environmental stewardship. This initiative is crucial for promoting mental well-being and a sense of responsibility among marginalized youth.
