Our Story

Since 1969, Settlement Housing Fund has developed 64 projects, providing over 9,000 apartments for more than 25,000 low- and moderate-income residents, including formerly homeless New Yorkers. The organization is dedicated to creating and sustaining high-quality affordable housing and programs that foster strong, economically diverse neighborhoods throughout New York City.

Impact

Settlement Housing Fund has successfully created and preserved over 8,900 units of affordable housing, with a current portfolio exceeding 3,100 units. The organization has developed 69 affordable rental and homeownership projects, ensuring that up to 50% of housing is set aside for families transitioning from shelter.
