Founded by the Sisters of Charity in 1966, Seton Hill Child Services, Inc. has been dedicated to providing quality care and education to children in Westmoreland County. As a Head Start delegate since 1967, SHCS has expanded its offerings to include Early Head Start, PA State Pre-K Counts, and EHS-Child Care Partnerships, ensuring that children from birth to 12 years receive the support they need.
SHCS serves 450 children across 7 locations, delivering comprehensive programs that address emotional, social, health, nutritional, and developmental needs. The agency adapts its services to meet the evolving needs of families, promoting healthy development and financial self-sufficiency.
