Our Story

The journey of Serving Beyond Borders began in 1982 when Doug and Paula Ley felt a divine call to fulfill God’s Great Commission. After a period of growth and preparation, they led a church in Northeast Ohio, honing their ministry skills. In 1999, they answered the call to serve in the Middle East, dedicating 12 years to teaching and making disciples in Bible Colleges and Seminaries. Upon returning, a new vision emerged, leading to the establishment of Serving Beyond Borders, a ministry committed to helping believers worldwide.
