Founded in March 2015, Serving Area Military and Veterans is dedicated to assisting local heroes and their families. This community of veterans and military supporters collaborates with various agencies to ensure that essential programs are not duplicated, effectively filling gaps in assistance. The SAM Center, located in Massillon, Ohio, operates on a zero-dollar lease provided by American Legion Post 221. Thanks to the dedication of caring volunteers, the facility was remodeled with materials and services donated by local businesses, exemplifying the community's commitment to supporting veterans.
