Our Story
Founded in 1980, Services Now for Adult Persons Inc (SNAP) emerged from the community's commitment to address the lack of senior services in Eastern Queens. With initial funding from the Aid Association of Lutherans, SNAP has grown to provide vital social services, including Meals on Wheels and the Open Door Social Adult Day Care Program.
Our Impact
SNAP delivers 2,700 Meals-on-Wheels each month, ensuring that seniors receive nutritious meals and companionship. The Open Door Social Adult Day Program offers quality care for individuals with early to moderate stage Alzheimer’s or dementia.
