Our Story

The SAVE Farm began with a mission to support servicemembers, veterans, and their families through hands-on training in sustainable agriculture. Founded by retired Colonel Gary Lagrange and his daughter, this organization has expanded its reach to include all individuals passionate about agriculture, operating near Ft. Riley and Kansas State University.

Impact

Through therapy and agricultural training, the SAVE Farm has empowered veterans and transitioning servicemembers to manage cropland, livestock, and horticulture sustainably. Significant milestones include the acquisition of 308 acres for training and a generous $200,000 donation from John Deere.
