SCORE, originally known as the Service Corps of Retired Executives, has been dedicated to helping small businesses since 1964. With a mission to provide free mentoring and education to entrepreneurs, SCORE has supported over 17 million small business owners across the United States through a network of more than 10,000 volunteers.
SCORE has helped 70% of mentored businesses survive more than five years, which is double the rate for non-mentored small businesses. The organization has provided 4.5 million hours of mentoring and education, significantly contributing to the success of local entrepreneurs and the economy.
