Founded in 1982, Service Coordination, Inc. (SCI) emerged from The Arc of Frederick County as one of the first independent service coordination initiatives in the nation. With a commitment to empowering individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities, SCI provides tailored service coordination that meets the unique needs of each person. The organization has grown to become the largest case management agency in Maryland, ensuring that over 13,350 individuals receive the support they need to thrive in their communities.

Impact

SCI employs over 410 highly qualified Case Managers across three regions in Maryland, with 95% holding a bachelor’s degree or higher. This dedicated team has an average of seven years of experience, with 27% possessing master’s degrees, ensuring that individuals receive the highest quality of care and support.
