The Serbian Philanthropic Association (SPA) was founded by a dedicated group of New York City professionals of Serbian origin, united by a common goal: to uplift and empower the Serbian community. In 2019, the association organized a successful gala in partnership with the Ana and Vlade Divac Foundation, raising an impressive $58,000 for scholarships awarded to high school students facing socio-economic challenges. This overwhelming response demonstrated the community's desire to give back and inspired the formation of SPA as a platform for collective philanthropic efforts.
