Our Story

Senior Care Services of Greater Princeton, originally established as the Health Care Ministry of St. Paul’s in 1984, has been a beacon of hope for the elderly in the greater Princeton community for over thirty-five years. Founded by the late Sister Mary Ancilla of the Sisters of Mercy, this organization was born from a vision to assist seniors in remaining in their homes rather than moving to institutional settings. Supported by the Princeton Council 636 of the Knights of Columbus, the initiative quickly gained traction, leading to the incorporation of the organization as a 501(c)(3) nonprofit in 1989. In 2019, the name was changed to Senior Care Services of Greater Princeton, reflecting its expanded mission and community impact.
