Our Story

Founded in 2009 by Cheryl Bird, Seneca Street Community Development Corporation addresses the pressing needs of the Seneca Babcock community in Buffalo, NY. Initially created to support local youth and families, the organization has evolved to provide essential resources aimed at breaking the cycle of intergenerational poverty.

Impact

Over the past four years, 100% of participants in the Seneca Street CDC Teen Program have graduated from high school, showcasing the organization's profound impact on youth education and community engagement.
