The Semilla Center for Healing and the Arts originated from the Semilla Arts Program at St. Paul’s Lutheran Church, aiming to plant seeds of hope through artistic expression. Since 2006, the center has expanded its reach, offering diverse art forms like murals and mosaics, primarily in the vibrant Phillips neighborhood of Minneapolis.
Over the past 14 years, Semilla has empowered over 2,300 individuals through workshops in various artistic disciplines, resulting in the installation of 23 murals and over 50 artistic place makers in the community.
