Founded on May 5th, 2017, SELAH Neighborhood Homeless Coalition emerged from a collective desire to address homelessness in Los Angeles. A coalition of neighborhood organizers, activists, and local service providers came together to create a community-led response, officially launching on May 22, 2017. This initiative aims to foster collaboration and compassion, ensuring that the needs of vulnerable neighbors are met through active participation and support.
