Our Story
The Segera Mission was founded by Rev. Carlton “Pappy” Gleason in 2002 after witnessing the tremendous needs in Kenya. He initiated a medical clinic, a school, a feeding program for widows and orphans, and a mission outreach program. Following his passing in 2008, his daughter Janice continued his legacy, and in 2019, Josh Dorrell took over, furthering the mission's work in education, healthcare, and community development.
