Our Story

SECOR Cares began as a Christmas Outreach program from Southeast Christian Church in Parker, Colorado, in the 1990s. It has since evolved into a year-round initiative, officially becoming a 501c3 nonprofit in 2006. The organization now offers vital services, including the Free Food Market and the Food for Thought program, which provides meals to struggling families. Additionally, SECOR Cares has introduced programs for seniors and a Mobile Market to reach those in need throughout the community.

Our Impact

SECOR Cares has significantly expanded its outreach, serving over 35 schools and providing essential food and support to families facing suburban poverty. The organization has also developed programs specifically for seniors, ensuring they receive not only food but also guidance on financial management and community support.
