Second Street and Hope

Our Story

Second Street and Hope is a dedicated nonprofit organization based in Frederick, Maryland, focused on alleviating the suffering associated with addiction and poverty. Founded over 15 years ago, the organization began its journey by serving meals in the basement of Centennial Memorial United Methodist Church. In 2018, it transitioned to a new location on the west side of Frederick, continuing its mission to support local youth and create a community for parents grieving the loss of a child to overdose.
