Our Story

Second Harvest of the Greater Valley has been a beacon of hope since 1976, initially serving senior citizens in San Joaquin County. Over the years, it has expanded its reach, now distributing over 20 million pounds of food annually to 350,000 individuals through a network of over 95 partners.

Impact

Each year, approximately 1,700 seniors benefit from the Silver Harvest program, which provides over one million pounds of food, ensuring that vulnerable seniors do not face food insecurity.
