Founded in 2010 by core members of Second Harvest Japan, Second Harvest Asia (2HA) aims to enhance food banking across Asia. With a mission to connect food banks and share best practices, 2HA addresses the pressing issue of hunger in regions where food banking is still developing. The organization was established by Charles McJilton, who has been a pioneer in food banking since 2000. Recognizing the need for a collaborative approach, 2HA strives to create a community that supports food banks in their efforts to feed the hungry.
