Founded in 2001 by Patsy 'Pat' Owen, Second Chance Society aims to help individuals overcome homelessness and other struggles through educational opportunities and employment tools. With a commitment to community upliftment, the organization has transformed the lives of thousands.

Second Chance Society has successfully assisted over 6000 individuals through its 'Hand Up Program' and over 7000 through its 'ID Program', fostering self-sufficiency and reintegration into society.
