Our Story
Founded in 2000 by Rhonda Greenhalgh, Second Chance for Homeless Pets began with a mission to save animals from high-kill shelters. After rescuing a deaf Boxer from euthanasia, the organization has since rescued over 7,000 animals, providing them with a second chance at life. Operating in Utah and surrounding states, Second Chance acts as an extension of local shelters, offering the necessary resources to re-home pets and reduce euthanasia rates.
