Second Chance Bikes

Our Story

Second Chance Bikes was established in 2018, evolving from a former chapter of Bikes for the World. Recognizing a local need for safe, reliable bicycles, this nonprofit organization became a registered 501(c)(3) to serve the community. Founded by Paul Keefer and developed with the help of Chris Clark, Second Chance Bikes has made a significant impact by providing affordable and no-cost bikes and repairs.

Impact

Since its inception, Second Chance Bikes has empowered over 1500 individuals by providing free bikes, completing 327 sliding-scale repair services, and selling 233 affordable bikes through its thrift store in 2023.
