Our Story

In November 2008, SeaVuria was born from a vision shared by MaryMargaret Welch and a group of educators from Eastside Catholic School in Seattle. Their journey to Bamba, Kenya, unveiled a community eager for quality education but constrained by financial and cultural barriers. Partnering with local leaders, they established a covenant to enhance educational opportunities for students and teachers alike, bridging the gap between Seattle and Kenya.

Impact

SeaVuria's initiatives have significantly improved academic performance in STEM subjects, leading to higher test scores and a growing interest in STEM careers among local youth. By equipping students with essential skills, SeaVuria plays a crucial role in breaking the cycle of poverty, enabling graduates to secure well-paying jobs and stimulate economic growth in their communities.
