In 2002, inspired by a children's playgarden in Manhattan, Liz Bullard founded the Seattle Children's PlayGarden to create an inclusive space for children of all abilities. Established as a nonprofit in 2003, the PlayGarden addresses the critical need for safe recreational spaces, fostering community and connection among children with disabilities and their families.
