Our Story
The Scratching Post is a dedicated no-kill cat shelter and adoption center located in Silverton. Since 1990, this 501(C)(3) non-profit organization has been committed to rescuing cats and finding them loving forever homes. With the capacity to house and care for 150 cats, the shelter successfully finds homes for approximately 250 cats each year.
