Our Story

The Scottish Rite Valley of Chicago, established in 1857, has a rich history dedicated to the highest principles of Freemasonry. As one of the largest Masonic organizations in the Midwest, it focuses on personal development and community service.

Impact

Through various charitable programs, the Scottish Rite has significantly contributed to the community. Notably, the Children's Dyslexia Center offers free tutoring for dyslexic children, while the Leon M. Abbott Scholarships support the education of children and grandchildren of Scottish Rite members.
