His dream was to create a collection of sports and celebrity memorabilia to raise funds for children's cancer research. Since its inception, the foundation has raised over $3.5 million through various fundraising events, making Scott's dream a reality.
With the funds raised, the Scott Carter Foundation has successfully funded more than nine two-year research fellowships at leading cancer research institutions, significantly advancing childhood cancer research.
