Founded in 1994 by a coalition of North American environmental organizations, the Science & Environmental Health Network (SEHN) emerged from a shared concern about the misuse of science that jeopardizes both the environment and human health. Operating as a virtual organization with a dedicated team across the U.S., SEHN has championed the Precautionary Principle since 1998, advocating for its adoption in environmental and public health policy.
