About the Science and Engineering Fair of Houston

The Science and Engineering Fair of Houston (SEFH) is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization dedicated to providing a unique educational platform for junior and senior high school students in grades 6-12. Open to all qualifying students in Harris County and 22 surrounding counties, SEFH promotes inclusivity regardless of race, gender, religion, or socio-economic status.

Impact on Students

Through the development and presentation of science and engineering projects, students enhance their analytical reasoning, problem-solving skills, and presentation abilities. SEFH believes in the importance of applying math and science knowledge beyond the classroom, preparing students for future technical careers.
