The Schuhplattler Gebirgstrachten Verein 'Edelweiss', Inc. was founded in 1933, dedicated to preserving Bavarian customs and culture through vibrant song and dance. Despite challenges like the Great Depression and World War II, the organization has thrived, with leadership primarily from third and fourth generations committed to fostering Bavarian heritage. As the Verein approaches its 90th anniversary in 2023, it continues to celebrate and share its rich traditions with the community.
