In 1958, local civic leaders recognized a pressing need for scholarship opportunities for high school seniors in St. Joseph County. They united to form the Scholarship Foundation of St. Joseph County, Inc., dedicated to raising funds and awarding scholarships based on academic merit and financial need. Over the past 60 years, the Foundation has awarded nearly 5,000 scholarships, totaling over $5.9 million, transforming the lives of countless students.
Since its inception, the Foundation has provided over $5.9 million in scholarship aid, enabling local students to pursue higher education at four-year colleges and universities nationwide.
