Our Story
The Schenectady Community Home Inc., known as the Joan Nicole Prince Home, opened its doors in 2006 after years of dedicated fundraising. This compassionate facility was established to bridge the gap between end-of-life care and individuals in need, allowing terminally ill patients to spend their final days in a nurturing home environment surrounded by loved ones and trained professionals. Named in honor of Joan Nicole (Keating) Prince, a brave mother who lost her battle with cancer, the Home continues to honor her legacy through its mission.
