About the Scheib Center
Founded in 1971 through a generous bequest from Dr. and Mrs. Scheib, the Scheib Center has dedicated itself to serving individuals with developmental disabilities and emotional disturbances in the San Marcos and Hays County area. Over the years, the center has expanded its facilities and services, including the establishment of a Youth Crisis Respite Center in 2015, to meet the evolving needs of the community.
