Our Story

The SCD Enrichment Program was founded by Shalelia J. Dillard, who experienced the challenges of being ostracized and bullied in school. Inspired by her journey, the program aims to support gifted and talented BIPOC students in advanced coursework through cultural education and mentorship. By partnering with various stakeholders in the education system, SCD Enrichment strives to create equitable access to advanced coursework opportunities for all students.
