SCARE for a CURE is a dedicated 100% volunteer organization based in Central Texas, renowned for crafting immersive haunted adventures. This initiative not only entertains but also serves a noble purpose: raising funds for the Breast Cancer Resource Center and other local charities. Founded from the legacy of legendary haunts like Britannia Manor and Haunted Trails, and inspired by local celebrity Jarrett Crippen, a.k.a. The Defuser, SCARE for a CURE brings together a talented crew of special effects artists, set builders, and community volunteers to create unforgettable experiences.

Impact in the Community

Since its inception in 2007, SCARE for a CURE has raised over $500,000 for the Breast Cancer Resource Center, awarded more than $50,000 in scholarships, and donated over $20,000 to Manor ISD and other local charities. The organization also actively collects thousands of pounds of pet food and canned goods for local shelters, demonstrating a commitment to community support.
